Electroimpact's commitment to quality comes from its employee's and leadership's commitment
to supplying world class solutions to automation and aircraft assembly challenges. To show
Electroimpact's continuing commitment to quality and improvement Electroimpact has developed
and implemented a world class Quality System. This system has many features and capabilities
that make up a system capable of assuring customer satisfaction with quality products.
AS9100 Registered
Electroimpact has had an ISO 9000 registered quality system since 1994. As a leader in the industry,
in 2004 Electroimpact was one of the first companies to achieve registration to the AS9100-2004 rev
B aerospace standard.
Registered AS9100 Rev D by Eagle Registrations Inc.
Nadcap
Accreditation is granted to this facility to perform the following:
- AC7130 Rev A - Nadcap Audit Criteria for Measurement & Inspection (M&I) Accreditation Program
- AC7130/1 Rev A - Nadcap Audit Criteria for Measurement & Inspection (M&I) Accreditation Program - Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- AC7130/2 - Nadcap Audit Criteria for Measurement & Inspection (M&I) Accreditation Program – Laser Tracker
- AC7130/3 - Nadcap Audit Criteria for Measurement & Inspection (M&I) Accreditation Program – Articulating Arm
Code Weld Quality
Electroimpact has significant welding and fabrication capability. To meet customer specification
requirements, Electroimpact welders are certified to the AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2 and AWS D9.1 codes.
Welding capability and certification extend to both steel and aluminum welding. Electroimpact
inspectors are certified to inspect welds to all of these codes.
Licensed Electrical Contractor
Factory installation of machine tools requires the ability to do wiring and other modifications
at the customer's sites. To meet this requirement, Electroimpact acquired Washington State
electrical contractors license number ELECTI*055KA. Electroimpact employs a Washington State
certified Electrical Administrator and Journeymen Electricians to support this capability.
Laser Tracking
Measuring large assemblies is a key requirement of Electroimpact's Quality Assurance System.
To accomplish this we acquired laser tracker capabilities. These systems are portable coordinate
measuring systems. The operator tracks the retro-reflector to tooling locations on the assembly and
the laser measures the location in space. By overlapping measurements and creating enhanced reference
systems, the measurement cube becomes virtually unlimited. This not only gives us the ability to
measure large assemblies, but to provide reference systems to our customers for maintenance purposes.
We are one of the largest users of laser tracking systems in the world.
See our Metrology Services page to find out how you can harness Electroimpact Metrology Services to help solve your measurement and engineering problems.
Tooling Q.A.
Electroimpact is an approved tooling offload vendor. Our Quality System has been audited and approved
by the most demanding customers. Our design, fabrication, machining, assembly and inspection are
capable of performing to the most exacting standards. We have the ability to produce all types of
tooling from high tolerance consumable tooling such as rivet dies to large assembly tooling such as
floor assembly jigs for automated cells.
